A New Client
Bill and Matt visited our new client, Mary Ann Hardman, of Persimmon Creek Vineyards this week. Here's a video that Bill took while he was there. She is one fascinating lady.
Our first project for her was a video that you can view on the website.
We are now working on a new website for the cottages they built on the property.

Oscar Bonspiel 2009
We booked our flight tonight for the Bonspiel weekend and Oscar night. Fargo in February. My favorite. Yup, just a little crazy.

Way behind...and Dad's Birthday
It seems like I can't get caught up with work or personal life since the first of the year. I thought I was making some headway and then I developed a toothache Thursday. By Friday afternoon, I was have a tooth extracted. Back molar. So, another year of dental work begins. Anyway, I missed posting that it was Dad's bday Thursday, 1/22.
Happy 83rd dad.
Happy 83rd dad.
Leave it Seattlelites
to find a potential positive health care model. I need to read more about it, but thought I would post it.
As you may have heard
Microsoft let some people go this week, between 40 and 50 at the Fargo campus. Tony and I are still employed but one never knows...
Of course the Fargo Forum, known for its fine investigative reporting, posted this about Microsoft's expansion on the Fargo campus.
"Also, construction for the Microsoft expansion appears to continue today. A worker could be seen putting on insulation and several vehicles were parked next to the building under construction."
Gotta' love small town newspapers.

Jean Keeler Christian
Jean Keeler Christian passed away today in Warroad. I don't have any more information on arrangements or other details, but I know she was 88. If you have more information, please post. If you can post a picture of her, that would be nice also.
When George and Jean lived in Seattle, we would often go and visit them. At that time, I don't think I-5 was completed yet. It always seemed like a long drive. We may have gone via Ranier Avenue. Monna, do you remember? I always enjoyed our visits. Jean was a wonderful baker and cook.
Please keep Georgean, Jerome and Denise and their families in your thoughts.

Moment of Landing
Here is a link to a Coast Guard video of the plane landing on the Hudson River. About two minutes into the video you see the plane land. The camera zooms in and you can see the people getting out of the plane and onto the wing. Sorry, I couldn't find the code to embed it. Thanks to TPM for the link. Here is the

Calvin
Calvin was 14 years old last August. Last May he weighed 16 lbs. Lately, he has been losing weight and is constantly hungry. I took him to the vet on Thursday. His heart rate was increased and he had lost 5 lbs. The vet thought that he probably had a hyperactive thyroid and that that would be the best possible explanation as it is treatable. The results did indeed show a hyperactive thyroid that can be treated with medication. He started the medication today. It will take two to three weeks to see results.
Pill Pockets
If any of you have ever tried to give a pill to a cat, take heart. The pill pocket product is a dream come true. Joe-lean (our office cat) has to take a kidney pill once a day. He loves taking the pill when I use a pill pocket. This morning, Calvin couldn't get the pill pocket down fast enough.

In Case of A Water Landing...
Here is the first photo from the crash of U.S. Airways flight 1549 in New York. Apparently there was a "bird incident" and the plane went into the Hudson River. Luckily, everyone seems to have got out okay. This is the first photo from the scene. So the next time the flight attendant says, "In the unlikely event of a water landing, life vests can be found under the seat...," pay close attention!
