Margaret and Helen

I found this fascinating blog written by a couple women in their 80's. I posted the link over there to the right. They are a little salty, but when you are in your 80's who cares?

Here is the about statement.

"My name is Helen Philpot. I am 82 years old. My grandson taught me how to do this so that I could “blog” with my best friend Margaret Schmechtman who I met in college almost 60 years ago. I have three children with my husband Harold. Margaret has three dogs with her husband Howard. I live in Texas and Margaret lives in Maine."

Herb Garden

Store

We have had a heckuva time leasing the empty space in our building. Rather then let it sit empty, we decided to sell stuff. We're going to sell our rugs, wallcovering, paper goods and whatever else we can make that's cool. You do what you gotta do. It's due to open circa June 2009.

Don't Mess With Mother Nature

The new timber bamboo shoots are finally up. The first sprout to come up this year came through the asphalt in the driveway. Quite a testament to life.
