Jam

I found this and thought you guys might like it. I think it was Ramona's recipe.

Fresh Berries Frozen Jam

Measure 3 1/2 cups berries. Mash
Add 6 cups sugar. Stir well and let sit for 30 min. Stirring often to make sure sugar dissolves
Measure 1 cup water in sauce pan and boil Add 1 package (3 0z) MCP pectin Boil for 1 min. stirring all the time.
Pour over berries and stir for a few minutes.
Freeze

Thanks, Effie. I think it is Mom's. Tim is picking blackberries everywhere. We'll have to try it. A lot of sugar, eh?

WOW. I remember being so excited getting some of this in Seattle and bringing it to I-falls. Now I know why I loved it so much. Im sure Gregg's boys will devour this dish.
