Well it is the day after Thanksgiving, and we are drying out - literally and figuratively. We had a wonderful gathering, and our friends Annie and Steve from Kansas City are here through Saturday morning. We had to show them the local sites, so we drove over to Lake Allatoona to "see the drought." It has become quite the tourist attraction. Here are some photos I took today. It is getting scary around Atlanta!

WOW! That is incredible. We have nothing so tangible to point to the climate change crisis.
We spent some time shopping and are now baking and making turkey soup.
