Brian brought home another a/c unit to cool down the kitchen. We had to take the window out. This is a twin to the one in our bedroom. Considering the temperature in the house was 91 it is well worth it eventhough it doesn't fit my decor. We are a bunch of whiners up here for sure. Forcast is more of the same tomorrow.

Go outside and get all sunburned and sandy, and then just pretend you are at Rainy Lake...maybe that will help. Never really have been a fan of the heat....so I really don't envy you
I'm whining too, its just too hot!!! It was 95 in our offices upstairs, with no air conditioning(at 8AM) and we had teen camp. When I came home it was 106 outside and 95 inside. I slept in the basement. We just don't get this kinda heat here very often
Oh to be at Rainy Lake.
I feel for all of you!
Come visit us in Atlanta and take a dip in the pool!
It's a lot hotter in Seattle than here. It's only been in the 80s and rainy.
Anyone for water skiing on Rainy Lake?
Isn't it a dry heat though?
Monna, I forgot to say how attractive the ac unit is. You must be very proud. ;-)
The Microsoft offices have been shutting down servers to cut back on electric usage. The building my manager is in lost power completely. I guess they had to go to a bar to find power. ;-)
Do you think we can still ski 3 behind the boat? Theone you were the star!
since we had to take window off to install AC I wouldn't let Brian keep it in and on all day...cause of the potential crime in the neighborhood so I'm sure when I get home temp will be approaching 100. Even ice maker has shut down. Clouds tomorrow morning in the forecast.
Brownouts...will be come a thing in the future.
We had two brownouts this week. Blew one of our battery back, albeit a small one. I think they were due to construction not overload. Georgia Power is talking about another nuclear plant for Georgia. Down by Augusta!
