Okay, it's not HGTV, but I am using the video feature on my new iphone to show my garden. I am beginning to really understand that gardening is a process. It is never done and yet it's perfect at the moment. Let me know your thoughts. And, let's see a video of your hobby.
In listening to it, I realized I could put daphne odora in the dry shade by the house. However,it's just too slow growing. I think I planted the largest daphne odora about 10 years ago as a very small plant.

Lovely. The big thing it seems to me is patience. I want my garden to look like yours NOW.
I wish we could have such vegetation! Can I come visit?
Jim is an amazing gardener. I am always in awe, and my mother always said he had a green thumb. She was right!
Thank you all. Patience is certainly a big part of it.
Effie, you and Jim or just you can come and visit anytime. You can sit in the garden and Bill will cook for you. Isn't that right, Bill?
My garden always looks best in spring & early summer with all the prenials. My Casa Blanca Lillies are just about done and the anemones are fighting with the MORNING GLORY. My goldenrod and phlox should bloom soon. As always an ongoing battle with the weeds. Never enough time.
Jim does have a great yard.
yes, I will cook like there's no tomorrow!
