We had a good day yesterday with Tonya and Bob. We saw two movies, A Single Man and Up in the Air. Both movies are definitely worth seeing.
A Single Man is a beautifully filmed and the acting is impeccable. However, it is not light entertainment.
Up in the Air, from the director of Juno is funny and disturbing. George Clooney is great.
We ended the day with Thai food and Annie's Thai Castle.

You have won everything! I agree, Up in the Air is disturbing. His life, like the lives of those he effected, was up in the air.
Saw It's Complicated. Great, fun movie for the senior crowd like Jim and me. Is there any role Meryl Steep can't play?
I want to see It's Complicated. After seeing A Single Man and Up in the Air in one day, I needs some light entertainment.
I'll be interested in knowing what other's think of A Single Man. It really is visually stunning.
I also think both movies are studies in existentialism. So, there.
Gregg and I are planning to see A Single Man this evening. I cant imagine I wont love it - seems that anything that Tom Ford touches is beautiful! I will report back with our thoughts.
WOW! What a movie. Word to others - dont go to a 10pm showing and expect to come home and be able to go to sleep. This movie really stuck with me. beautifuly filmed, acted, and directed. I hope that it gets some Oscar attention - becuase then more people are likely to see it. A work of art!
