I saw this interesting article on Ely, MN. Why does Ely sounds familiar, do we have family from there or is it just because it's near International falls?

Did Gordon and Emma live in Ely once?
Fascinating article. I think the country is getting meaner and scarier.
Emma and Gordon lived in Hibbing which is close to Ely.
It could sound familar because of the Boundry Waters, or the wolf sanctuary, or the pinecone curtain place that was on "Ellen", or the fact that my highschool boyfriend John Velsvaag is a Conservation Officer (game warden) there. Maybe none of those though...
