What's going on?

Life in Fargo is pretty boring. We seem to work, walk the dog, and sleep. I did read two books this week -- neither of them worth recommending, but I'm part way in to the third which is disturbing and fascinating "Fruitless Fall" The collapse of the Honey Bee and the Coming Agricultural Crisis. I have been seriously thinking about modeling Ted and becoming a beekeeper.

Oh my! 1/2 more day of school. I am ready for vacation.

It's hot here in the Southeast. Bill and I are going to Aiken tomorrow to visit Elise and get some more dad's belongings.

Honey bees always make me think of dad. Maybe "Fruitless Fall" will do what "Silent Spring" did.

Speaking of that. The Libby, MT asbestos issue is scary. I often think of the hockey stick factory. When I worked there gluing sticks, I never used a mask. I think the fiberglass workers did, but not sure.

The Storms aren't doing much, just working. Summer school starts tomorrow - I'll spend my mornings there and some of my afternoons at my regular school. That schedule will run me right up into the fall administrator's retreat. Rumor is that I get to move into my office this week or next. It needs a coat of paint and a woman's touch, for sure! I'll post before and after pics. :)
