Mom would have been 82 today. She is on my mind. I was up early today. I guess I am following in her footsteps.

I have been thinking about your mom. I've been reading the book, Ramona. Have you ever read it?
I have never read it. I will put it on my summer reading list.
Jim, I seem to remember the story that you mom was named after the main character in the movie and book. It's a great California history story. Sad though about the treatment of American Indians.
Thanks for that bit of family history. I had not heard that before. I will need to "bing" the subject and check it out.
