Day 2 - Success. A tired dog!

Sunday night I didnt get much sleep so I was pretty tired after work yesterday. On the way home I got an espresso to keep me awake and then my friend Kiel came over around 7. We took Charley on a 3.5 mile run. Both puppy and Hans were whipped. It did the trick. Around 10:30 pm he was out for the night. It's an adjustment, but I think I can do this.
Love to all.

Just gotta ask are you keeping this dog? If not, why change his name?

I think it is Ok to change the dog's name. I don't think they get attached to names like people do, plus Charlie is close enough sounding to Buddy that he will pick it up quickly. The main thing is to use the new name in a positive way so he learns that his new name means something good and makes him happy.

He is darling.

Dad asked me to take him until he is able to care for him again. He also went by Charley for a couple weeks when he was really little. I read some stuff online about name changes and Bob (as always) is correct. If they sound the same its generally ok.

Hans! No WHY did you have to go and say THAT ;) That Bob was right.

I must admit I was wondering about/worried about the same thing.

In the end, I suspect like kids, dogs are resilient (not sure how to spell that and too lazy to look it up).

He sure is CUTE whatever you call him!!

Whoops, in previous post it should say "why did you have to say Bob was right"

thanks, guys, for all the clarification. My little Buddy is so sweet, I think all Buddys must be! ;-)

Thanks Hans. (I'll pay you later) :-)

Someone wise once told me that the only time they were ever wrong was when they thought they were wrong.. but they were really right.

I suspect the same applies to Bob.
