In Case of A Water Landing...


Here is the first photo from the crash of U.S. Airways flight 1549 in New York. Apparently there was a "bird incident" and the plane went into the Hudson River. Luckily, everyone seems to have got out okay. This is the first photo from the scene. So the next time the flight attendant says, "In the unlikely event of a water landing, life vests can be found under the seat...," pay close attention!

What an incredible story. Plane loses both engine and glide-lands into the 40 degree Hudson river and everyone walks off the plane almost unscathed.
