Last Sunday I was working outside and I looked down into the woods and saw a snake. It was at least 5 feet long. It's the dark line in the middle of the picture. It eventually slithered away into the ivy. As you can tell not a lot to post this week.

Not quite sure if I'm more reluctant to encounter the ghost or the snake on my next visit. I think I'll limit my visits to non-snake weather...that is no "garder" snake.
It will keep the mouse population down. Here we have to rely on Cocoa.
The snakes stay in the woods. Although, there was one by the front steps last year.
