Nice post Lara. Georgia held a primary yesterday. It was mostly for state and county offices. In our county, there was one democrat who qualified for the ballot. Since it was a party primary, if you wanted to vote for a democrat there was only one choice. All state, county and school board offices in Cherokee County were decided yesterday because they were all republicans. The good news (if you are a democrat) is that the GOP is eating their own right now. Bill and I didn't participate. I refuse to have it on the public record that I asked to vote in a republican primary. Some of Democratic friends vote. I just can't. Republicans also bring you laws that allow guns in restaurants and bars. And, oh, the Atlanta airport. The worlds busiest. As they say. Oy vey!
